Also called ‘Lady palm’- its clumps can reach enormous width, to the point the width and height are the same, Chubby lady. The Raphis is extremely tolerant for low light and is a great solution for spots that are poor of light.  Once established it can also be tolerant to drought , but don’t push it.                         

Light- Medium indirect light.                                                                                                                                      

Water- make sure the soil is dry before watering.                                                                                                 

Humidity- Optianal.                                                                                                                                                          

Fun fact- In Japan the Raphis palm was planted at the palaces  of military commanders. The leaves were said to send away those of bad intent.
